Be Out Day originated in Tallahassee, FL, at Florida A&M University. Since its inception, alumni have kept the tradition going in their respective cities, such as L.A., Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami, and Atlanta. Tampa is home to many Rattlers, which is a great opportunity for the legacy to continue in the Bay Area.​

To all Be Out Day Tampa Bay supporters, FAMULY, and Friends,

we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity. Thanks to your donations, we were able to send three students from the Bay Area to the 2024 Marching 100 Summer Band Camp. We were also able to provide book stipends to four freshmen who enrolled in FAMU last fall, helping them as they embark on their new journey on the Highest of Seven Hills. Your support has made an impact, and we are excited to build on this success for next year’s event. We look forward to continuing this journey together. Thank you for making it all possible!
